Our goal is to bring to your attention some helpful information which will help prevent fires in your community.
Fire has been a part of man's world ever since the caveman discovered the warmth of the flame. As a result of his association with fire he very soon learned that "he" had to control that fire or suffer the consequences of an out-of control blaze.
Fire in it's original state is the flame normally associated with fossil fuels such as wood, coal or gas. However our heat of today may not be in the form of a flame but instead it may be from electricity or in some buildings it may be steam.
Fire, when used in a controlled manner is probably the most helpful element in our society. It warms our home, cooks our food. It makes energy to run our automobiles or engines to produce the materials we use every day. It assist us in cleaning, in medicines, helps to light our homes and streets.
Fire, when out of control, will destroy a lives and lively-hood. It will burn a home in minutes. Statistics show that a fire will progress in less than 10 minutes from it's start to a full blown house fire. Then it may lie in wait, hidden in a dark place waiting for someone to open a door then burst into a voilent blaze.
Plastic or foam, the most common material found in a modern home will become deadly gases when burning, causing injury, even death to those who may breathe them.
For this reason we offer these tips. Sometimes there will be tips to apply to your daily life, at other times there will be puzzles or questions & answers.

Answers
1. Alert others then exit the building as soon as possible, then make an account of everyone. Then call 911 or your local number to report a fire.
2. Address, directions with the nearest intersection and telephone number
3. Go to the street or road to direct the fire engine in. Make sure no vehicle blocks the entrance for fire equipment or ambulance.
4. Stay out. You may find it after the fire is out. If not then it is replaceable
5. A smoke alarm
6. Every year; New Years Day, a birthday of other day which will be a reminder
