OKTIBBEHA COUNTY
ROAD MANAGER

The Oktibbeha County Board of Supervisors shall accept applications for the position 
of Road Manager through June 08, 2005.  Applications are to be mailed to the Oktibbeha 
County Board of Supervisors, P. O. Box 82085, Starkville, MS  39759 or hand delivered
to the County Administrator's Office, 106 Court Square, Starkville, MS.

The Road Manager shall administer the daily operations of the Road Department in
accordance with the general policies determined by the Board of Supervisors.  The 
Road Manager shall serve at the "will and pleasure" of the Board of Supervisors and 
shall be educated or experienced in the construction and maintenance of roads and 
bridges and other facets of Road Department responsibilities such as budgeting, 
personnel management, and the purchasing of equipment, goods and services.

Benefit package shall include salary, paid health insurance, paid personal, medical 
and holiday leave, and retirement through the Mississippi Public Employees Retirement
System.
